About AetherForge
What is AetherForge?
AetherForge is an AI-powered Invention Operating System for independent and neurodivergent inventors.
It helps an inventor explore, research, design, build, test, refine, document, and prepare an invention for professional review—without forcing the work through a rigid sequence.
How is AetherForge different from using ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok?
General-purpose AI tools can be useful for research, discovery, analysis, and specialized work.
AetherForge is the system surrounding the invention.
Its co-pilot stays focused on the invention while the platform connects decisions, changes, research, designs, tests, and supporting files across the entire process.
Work produced elsewhere can be brought into AetherForge so it becomes part of the invention rather than another disconnected document.
Who is AetherForge built for?
AetherForge was built for independent inventors—especially neurodivergent inventors whose ideas develop through conversation, visual thinking, branching, pivoting, testing, and return.
You do not need a diagnosis to use it.
You only need an idea you want to move forward.
Do I need invention or patent experience?
No.
You can begin with a first idea, an existing prototype, years of accumulated work, or an invention already being prepared for professional review.
AetherForge meets the invention where it is.
Do I need to know how to use AI?
No prompt engineering is required.
Talk to the co-pilot the way you would explain the idea to someone capable of following your thinking.
You can also bring in sketches, images, voice recordings, research, receipts, test results, and existing files.

Where do I begin?
Start with what is on your mind.
You do not need to identify the correct stage or prepare your thoughts first. Ask a question, explain the problem, describe the mechanism, upload what already exists, or simply say that you do not know where to begin.
What kinds of inventions can I develop?
AetherForge can support physical products, mechanical systems, software, processes, methods, materials, tools, devices, and other forms of invention.
The platform is organized around the work of inventing—not one industry or technical field.
Do I have to follow the eight stages in order?
No.
Think it. Research it. Design it. Build it. Test it. Tweak it. Patent it. Sell it.
Every stage remains open. Enter anywhere, move in any direction, and return whenever the invention requires it.
AetherForge keeps the work connected as it moves.
What happens while I talk with the co-pilot?
The visible experience remains a conversation.
Behind it, AetherForge identifies what you adopt, preserves important decisions, connects new information with earlier work, and organizes the invention across its eight stages.
A suggestion does not become part of the invention unless you adopt it.
If a decision changes, its history remains connected to what superseded it.
Can I bring in work from other tools?
Yes.
Upload or paste research, notes, documents, images, transcripts, test results, or other relevant material into the conversation.
Larger files can also be placed in the file cabinet and reviewed with the co-pilot.
Can I work on more than one invention?
Yes. The number of inventions that can remain active at once depends on your plan.
Inactive inventions remain preserved. You decide which inventions are active and when to return to them.
Can other people collaborate inside my account?
Direct multi-user collaboration is not available at launch.
You can export appropriate documents for an attorney, engineer, mentor, manufacturer, investor, or commercialization professional and bring their feedback back into AetherForge.
What AetherForge produces
What documents can AetherForge generate?
As the invention develops, AetherForge can assemble materials such as:
- A non-confidential one-page overview
- A friends-and-family explanation
- Build sheets and test plans
- Commercialization documents
- A technical brief
- A comprehensive invention package
The strength and completeness of each document depend on the information the inventor has provided.
Are the documents ready to give to professionals?
They are designed to make that handoff stronger.
The technical brief and comprehensive invention package receive an independent review before generation. If important material is missing, the document is still available but is clearly marked as a draft and identifies what needs more work.
AetherForge prepares the inventor’s work for professional review. It does not replace that review.
Does AetherForge file patents?
No.
AetherForge helps develop and document the invention so the inventor can approach a qualified patent professional with clearer, more complete work.
The inventor and their attorney decide what should be filed.
AI, ownership, and trust
Does AetherForge invent for me?
The inventor remains the source.
The co-pilot can help explore possibilities, surface connections, challenge assumptions, and develop adopted ideas. It does not claim authorship or quietly add its own suggestions to the invention.
What if the AI is wrong?
AI can make mistakes.
Technical claims, research findings, prior art, calculations, and other material facts should be verified before they are relied upon.
AetherForge is designed to preserve uncertainty, expose missing support, and strengthen the work as it advances—not disguise assumptions as facts.
Who owns my invention?
You do.
AetherForge does not claim ownership of your ideas, inventions, files, or creative work.

Is AetherForge a substitute for an attorney or engineer?
No.
AetherForge helps independent inventors arrive at those professional conversations with stronger documentation, clearer questions, and more of the invention already developed.
Legal, engineering, financial, and commercialization professionals remain responsible for the advice and services they provide.
